#2.  Watch the Choreography Video:

                          

Figure out what moves (attacks and parries) correspond with the choreography in the video. Be specific to:

ATTACKS

Cues

Casting

Targets

PARRIES

Targets

Blade Paths (pushing the attacking blade away)

(OPTIONAL) You may view the other two recap videos below for help on proper Offensive and Defensive Technique

#3. Film Yourself & Submit Your Video

 

Film yourself executing the corresponding choreography from the video.

Be creative with what prop you use as your weapon.

Submit your video through Google Drive, YouTube Link, or any other way you prefer to submit a video & EMAIL IT TO DUSTEN

This week we're veering away from Romeo and Juliet, and instead looking at a few sword fights in cinema.

#1.  Watch each video:

                          

THINK ABOUT:

How dangerous do the characters perceive their situation to be?

 

How dangerous does the audience perceive the character's situation to be? (Is the audience worried that the protagonist will lose/be harmed? Why/why not?)

 

What effect does the acting, choreography, breath, focus, cinematography, sound, lighting or any other element have on building the perceived dynamic?

Who do you want to win? Why?

#2. ALTERNATIVE OPTION -          If you cannot attend the meeting
