Dan Hendrock is a professional actor, director, and teaching artist. He has been professionally directing and acting in Cleveland, NYC, and Chicago for the past fifteen years. 

 

Dan has his MFA in Acting from the Cleveland Play House/Case Western Reserve University graduate acting program, his BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University, and is a proud member of AEA.

 

In the summer, Dan is Head of Acting at Hathaway Brown Theatre Institute and is 'chomping at the bit' to bring his love of theatre and teaching to The Academy for the Performing Arts.  

 

Dan takes on some heavy lifting at the Academy; serving as Resident Director of Productions and An instructor in Acting, Speech, Movement, History, Acting for the Camera and Dialects - along with whatever other hats he can throw into the ring.!

 

Dan also holds his teaching certificate in the Michael Chekhov Technique from the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium. His performing credits include many television, film, and commercial appearances, regional theatres, national tours, and Off-Broadway. 

 

Dan has found his passion in sharing his expertise about the craft with the next generation of performers.

He will also be working with Tom Fulton in the Contemporary Drama Video series and the "Whirlwind of Passion" Shakespeare series.
